  • Silent and resistant to new engine environmental constraints, the ribbed shape responds perfectly to the requirements of manufacturers in terms of drive surface and complex kinematics, enabling numerous accessories to be driven at the same time.
  • The V-shaped belt allows belts to completely marry the curve radius of the pulleys that they drive and have a contact surface (2 V-shaped sides) that is larger than on flat belts. Its mechanical properties mean that it does not need to be tensioned as highly as a ribbed accessories belt. V-belt technology has been in decline at manufacturers since the 2000s in favour of the ribbed profile.

• Our belts meet the recommendations set out by car manufacturers (replacement frequency – no maintenance) which may vary according to the engine and drive kinematics concerned from 60,000 to 90,000 km.
• It is essential to regularly check the condition and tension of the belt and be attentive to the noise that a faulty belt or accessories system may make.
• The high tension causes tears in the belt and abrasion of teeth, conversely, a belt that is not tight enough may cause vibrations, noise and transmission power loss by sliding on the pulleys.
